Instead technologies For Helping People, S.L.

Previously, I developed various functions in jobs mainly related to footwear and export.

Since 2010 I have been part of the Bidons Egara Research Chair in Retinitis Pigmentosa at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche. Where I work mainly to disseminate the work of the Chair and the scientific advances that occur around this disease.

As of 2014 I started working for the Spin-off of the UMH Instead technologies For Helping People, S.L. where we develop help tools for various disabilities. As part of my work in this company we have developed the Egara Smart Baton, a device that allows the location at height of potentially dangerous obstacles for the user.

This development has won awards such as the Award for technological innovation in its mobility category granted by Talgo in 2021 and the Innovation in Company Award granted by the CEOE in 2020.

As well as being a finalist in the Mapfre Awards for social innovation. We are currently immersed in the development of a platform for total immersion in virtual reality that allows users with various visual disabilities to train and enhance their skills, and in the same way allows healthy users to experience the day-to-day life of various visual disabilities.
