Carlos Bustos

Computing area at National Geographic Information Center (CNIG)

Carlos is a Computing Engineer by the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He worked at the IT area of different companies R&D in Telefónica, Indra and Motorola, before becoming a staff member, first in the IT departments at INAEM, ICAA and IGN, and since 2014  managing the computing area at the National Geographic Information Center.

At this job, he has been involved in various CNIG mobile apps development, particularly in the "Cno. de Santiago" which is currently being adapted to be accessible for everyone in collaboration with Fundacion ONCE and Federación Española de Asociaciones del Camino de Santiago. This project is an important millestone in CNIG´s path  and its continuous efforts to supply geographic information and make it accessible to the population.
