Daniel is a Telecom Engineer from the University of Malaga.

He started his career as a strategy and business consultant at Arthur Andersen.

Later, he led the deployment of a city-wide Powerline Communications network for Spanish utility Iberdrola, before moving on to manage the regional knowledge coordinator Andalusian Technology Network.

At present, he is director general of the Spain-based Smart City Cluster, where he helps make cities better all around the world.
