Isabel Godoy Urrutia

Responsible for inclusive and senior tourism. Costa Brava Tourist Board

Born in 1963. She began her professional career in the tourism sector as a receptionist at El Delfín Verde Campsite. She went on to become an official tourist guide for the Government of Catalonia, specialising in Girona’s Jewish heritage, gaining her first professional experience with senior tourists and travellers with disabilities, and adapting the established route to suit their interests and needs.

For the past 33 years, she has worked as a specialist in the Marketing Department of the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board, where she manages the Image Archive and the Inclusive-Senior Tourism Area.

The dynamic she employs to strengthen the Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees destination involves building relationships between tourism marketing managers and service and activity providers, working in collaboration with different organisations of people with disabilities.

The Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board manages inclusive tourism in a cross-cutting way by fostering interaction among the members of its eight marketing clubs to continuously expand the range of inclusive services and facilities available (Health and Wellness, Culture and Identity, Sports Tourism, Nature and Active Tourism, the DO Empordà Wine Route, Wine and Gastronomy, Premium, and Golf)
