She coordinates the Falada Library university extension project and the Linguagem e Mídia Acessível (Gelima) research group at the same institution. She is also one of the leaders of the Brazilian Rede de Pesquisa em Acessibilidade, Diversidade e Inclusão (Repadi). She has a PhD in Communication and conducts research in accessible communication, travel journalism, and audio-based assistive technology.
