Position:
Researcher, Bayreuth University

Viktorija Paneva is a PhD Candidate in the field of Human-Computer Interaction at the University of Bayreuth in Germany. She received a bachelor’s degree in Applied and Computational Mathematics at Jacobs University Bremen and a joint master’s degree in Mathematical Modelling at the Universities of L’Aquila and Hamburg. Her research interests include modelling, simulation, and optimization of new and emerging user interfaces (e.g., acoustic levitation displays and ultrasonic haptics). As part of the EU project LEVITATE, she explored the potential of touchless mid-air haptics for accessibility applications, in the context of Braille public displays.
